Community Manager / Editor - B2B Publishing (Ref: 2670)

Description:

My client is a leading B2B publisher with an impressive portfolio of multiplatform media brands. 

For the past four years they've been continually developing compelling websites for their print-based titles and are now strengthening their online community propositions which encourage greater engagement from the audiences they serve.

As Community Manager across three of these titles, you'll be responsible for innovating and implementing community activities on the sites as well as leading a programme of live and virtual events such as forums and webinars.

The job will not be exclusively office based.  You'll need to represent the brands at industry events wherever they happen around the country, networking in face-to-face situations - not just online.

The successful candidate will almost certainly have online editorial experience in publishing or possibly digital marketing, and bring a journalistic curiosity and thirst for knowledge and analysis.  Without doubt, they'll need demonstrable writing skills capable of developing an indentifiable style and tone of voice in community activities and to write well argued, informative blog posts/ introductions to discussion threads etc.

They'll also need the confidence to moderate forums or live online debates and produce lucid comment and response to posts.

This is a pioneering role and will require an outgoing, self-starting and proactive individual, willing to throw themselves into new challenges.

If you happen to be interested in architecture, property or the built environment generally, so much the better.
