We begin each assignment by taking the fullest possible brief from the employer (our client). This will include a breakdown of the role and a list of skills, experience and personal attributes thought necessary for the job. We will also look at the balance of skills and experience in the existing team, to identify any qualities that could add to its overall effectiveness. The culture of the office is also important and consideration is given to the kind of personality likely to offer the best fit.

Fully briefed for the assignment, we then discuss the method of recruitment choosing between database search, advertising or a combination of the two. In some cases, we may also draw upon our extensive network of contacts to identify people to whom we would make a direct approach.

Having identified potential candidates, The Media Network conducts initial interviews during which applicants learn more about the job on offer. This also allows us to draw up a final shortlist of qualified individuals whose cvs, with their permission, are submitted to the client together with a brief report.
