New Editor for Radio Times
The new editor of Radio Times is Ben Preston, a newspaper journalist and son of former Guardian newspaper editor, Peter Preston. Ben will leave his job as executive editor of The Independent in the summer to take over from Gill Hudson whose appointment as UK editor of Reader's Digest was announced in April. Ben's journalism career started out at the Bristol Evening Post. He moved to The Times in 1993 where he worked as education correspondent, Home News Editor, Deputy Editor and finally International Editor before leaving for The Independent in June 2008.
