Andrew Gilligan to join Telegraph Media
Andrew Gilligan is joining the Telegraph group as its London Editor. Since leaving Radio 4's Today programme in 2004 as a casualty of the Hutton report, Gilligan has been writing for The Evening Standard where his investigative coverage of Ken Livingstone's leadership in the office of London Mayor sparked calls for his sacking. The move is a return to the Telegraph stable where he worked as Defence Correspondent for The Sunday Telegraph prior to joining the BBC in 1999.
